Acrylic sheets may be scratched on the surface during use, so how should we deal with it?
1. Generally, if there are small scratches on the surface, you can use suede with a little toothpaste to wipe it. You only need to wipe it a few times to restore it.
2. If it is a deeper scratch:
1）Use fine water sandpaper and add water to smooth the scratched area and the surrounding area.
2）Rinse with water, then wipe with suede dipped in toothpaste.
3) If the scratch is still there, it may be that the sandpaper is not polished enough and needs to be operated again.
3. It should be noted that the surface will become fogged after sanding with water sandpaper, which can be restored to brightness by wiping with toothpaste.
The degree of sanding with water sandpaper is mainly determined by the degree of scratches.
You can also use an electric waxing machine for cars, dip it in toothpaste for polishing, which can quickly remove scratches on the acrylic surface.
